
We are excited to announce the names of the 8 shortlisted artists for the “Soil Art Tales” Open Call launched in the context of the SoilTribes project. The open call was launched on 25 January 2025 to select 4 artists to produce artworks that could add emotional and motivational layers to human-soil connections, offering new ways of visualizing, interpreting, and interacting with soil.

- Bethany Kopsei
- Xin Yang
- Segal Calin

- Stefano Cagol, appointed Soil Art Tales curator (SoilTribes exhibition project)
The names of the 4 “winners” will be announced by the end of April 2025.
The 4 artworks will compose a travelling exhibition which will be hosted in 7 European museums (a call for museums will be launched soon!) throughout the implementation of the SoilTribes project.
The exhibitions will be organized by WAMU-NET and curated by Stefano Cagol.
