Italian Federation of SPA Hotels was founded in 2017 by bringing together a large group of SPA and wellness companies.
The Association supports the promotion of thermal SPAs and the recognition of the beneficial effects of water, not only as a cure for many disabling pathologies, but above all as prevention for holistic physical and mental wellbeing. For this reason, the Federation is carrying out a project on health tourism linked to thermalism that can bring together all the excellence and services of thermal territories. The aim is to highlight the beneficial waters reminiscent of Ancient Rome, where inhabitants visited thermal baths daily not only for wellness activities but also for meetings, leisure, and entertainment.
Federalberghi Terme joins the Global Network of Water Museums to organise exhibitions and promote UNESCO initiatives for education on the sustainable use of water among its members.
