Habithèque promotes water heritage through exhibitions, public experiences, nonprofit education, and play-to-protect games that connect rivers, watersheds, public health, aquatic access, environmental justice, ecosystem restoration, and stewardship for children, families, and communities.
Habithèque is a water-centered cultural production, exhibition planning, and interpretive design studio founded by Victoria A. Prizzia. Across Habithèque Inc., the Habithèque Blue and Green Fund 501(c)(3), and Blue Revolution Games, our work uses water as a lens for public learning, environmental justice, public health, aquatic access, ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and civic imagination.
Our goal is to help people understand that water is not only a resource, but living heritage: ecological, cultural, emotional, and shared. We create exhibitions, immersive installations, digital storytelling tools, public experiences, learning-through-play resources, and play-to-protect games that help children, families, museums, communities, and partners feel connected enough to care and act.
Habithèque’s water work includes POOL: A Social History of Segregation, River Alive! and the River Alive! Learning Trail, The Floating Water Workshop, freshwater mussel and watershed interpretation, and Otter Planet, the first game from Blue Revolution Games. These projects connect rivers, watersheds, swimming access, water quality, biodiversity, climate, and belonging.
Through the Blue and Green Fund, we support education-focused storytelling and stewardship projects around water, public health, ecosystem restoration, renewable energy, and equity. Through Blue Revolution Games, we extend this mission into interactive media for a new generation, using play to build water literacy, nature connection, child well-being, and real-world water action.
At the heart of all three entities is a simple belief: people protect what they feel connected to. Our activities invite audiences to see water differently, understand their place within living systems, and participate in a more just, resilient, and connected blue future.
